## Sign (Segno) Each measure can have a sign (segno):

As you see above, segno starts at the start of the measure. It's because usually this mark is used with another mark "Dal segno", which tells the performer to repeat playing of the music starting at the nearest preceding segno. If you need to use segno mark differently and put it at the end of the measure or explicitly declare that it's at the start of the measure, you can type following instructions:
